Trees have blown across the footpath leading to the bridle path bridge over the A2, partially blocking it. It has been like this for a month. Since the strong winds before Christmas.

Foot/bridlepath over A2 Ilden. Bridlepath overgrown, 12th September
Bridlepath overgrown and not easily passable on a horse. Too narrow in places or too low with overhanging trees/bushes. Whole path needs to be cut back please from A2 lay-by opposite Out Elmstead Lane to the Ileden farm road. Has gotten worse over the years. Not cut back hard enough.

Flooding from A2 into Out Elmstead Lane, 9th August
On Thursday 20th July and Saturday 5th August during heavy rains there was significant run-off from the A2 into Out Elmstead Lane causing flooding at the bottom of the lane and to properties alongside the lane. Please could drainage on A2 be inspected and any necessary work be undertaken to avoid reoccurrence.

It is very difficult to see whether traffic is coming and whether it is safe to enter the A2 from our road. Oncoming traffic can’t see us coming out onto the A2 either which is very unsafe.

Accumulated litter and debris, 29th January
Heavy litter and general debris affects multiple stretches of the A2 between Dover and the M2. It is well overdue for cleansing. There are opportunities for undertaking work alongside existing Traffic Management schemes (coned-off verges/central reservations). Do existing contracts include programmed cleansing? Please reply

Excess litter on A2 in both directions and in lay-bys, 21st February
The litter is awful on most of the Kent highways but especially bad her. The lay-bys used by lorry drivers are a disgrace as they don’t take their little and you don’t clear it.
