Toddler swing padlocked, 23rd October
I’m not a regular at this park but I noticed a couple of weeks ago one of the toddler swings has been padlocked so it can not be used. I assume this wasn’t but the council as there is no notice. I went yesterday again with my child and the swing is still padlocked. If you have a toddler (like I do) you know it’s not easy to convince them to wait nice and quietly for their turn on the swings and now there is only one swing even less chance they will get a go, so very disappointing for them.

Tree Preservation Order, 22nd October
I understand that the beautiful birch tree in front of 9, Hanover Place is to be taken out and In would like to place a tree preservation order on this tree. As can be seen from the photo, the tree is ingrained with the character of the street. Taking it out would be a significant visual impairement and would change the charcter of this street. Therefore, I would like to request to be preserved!

Resident feels the cycle route signage here is confusing, 6th September
I work for Kent County Council Highways and a resident has reported that the cycle sign installed here by yourselves is confusing for cyclists as it indicates a safe cycle route along the A2050 into Canterbury. Whilst l understand cycling is legal along the A2050 it is not a pleasant experience. I understand from Canterbury City Council that you installed the sign to indicate which direction adjacent cycle routes are. Do you have a policy on this and would you consider removing the sign? I have photos and more details of the exact location
