Traffic light does not work for motorcycle, 7th March
When waiting for the lights to change exiting Lydden to travel coastbound to Dover, the lights do not change when on a motorcycle. They are permanently stuck on red when waiting at these lights to cross the A2 carriageway on a motorcycle. Traffic lights allow you to cross 4 lanes of traffic across the A2.
It will only change for a car or heavier vehicle. This is extremely dangerous for motorcyclists on a very dangerous stretch of road.

A2. h.k.u. Road signs obscured by trees and foliage. Also traffic light signal too high., 24th August
When travelling from Canterbury on A2 and pulling into filter lane to turn onto Lydden Hill there have been many incidents. The most recent was Sunday 21st August. Obeying the filter's green light I proceeded across the lights and narrowly escaped being hit by two oncoming vehicles in the nearside lane. On the outer line a car and a lorry had stopped. On checking the road from the Whitfield roundabout end travelling towards Canterbury I noticed that there were signs obscured by tress and foliage, long grass in central reservation. The major point of concern is that the traffic lights are too high and not clearly seen by nearside lane traffic. This has been an ongoing problem since April 2022 but has got more frequent since. Traffic lights changing too frequently due to malfuctioning sensors, 15th March
The traffic lights change too frequently to allow traffic turning across the main flow of the A2 (e.g. to allow traffic heading London bound to turn right in to Coxhill Road) even when there is no traffic waiting to turn. It would appear that the sensors are picking up traffic when none is there. This has been happening for many months.
