Potholes in Sea Street, St Margaret’s at Cliffe, 13th October
The photos show 2 sets of potholes on the left hand lane of the narrow road going towards the top of Bay Hill. This is a very busy road and bus route and cyclists have to weave around the holes on a bend with oncoming traffic.

Pothole opposite entrance to Portal House School, St Margaret’s at Cliffe, 13th May
The pothole has opened up along a previously filled trench across the road. It has become very dangerous for cyclists. The road is very narrow here and difficult to avoid it with traffic coming from the opposite direction.

Pothole on Dover Road going west from Townsend Farm, 15th January
There is a large, deep pothole on the Dover road going towards Westcliffe just after a bend to the left from St Margaret’s at Cliffe. It fills with water so can’t be seen after rain. Vehicles are forced out around it entering the other lane facing a danger from ongoing traffic.

No signage for slow or blind bend coming from st Margaret,s on Dover Road. Two entrances from dwellings we have a few seconds to get out plus the abuse from motorists even the postman gets this. There is no interest from Parish, District or County Council or Kent HIghways!s, 9th August
Speed limit of 60mph but needs to be slower on blind bend. Deaths will only help the problems - no duties of care by Kent Highways.

Excessive speed of vehicles coming from St Margaret's around the blind bend by Wallet's Court and abuse from drivers. Deal road has 50mph limit but Dover road 60 but there are no pavements and vehicles approaching round a blind bend at speed with exits from houses creat a death hazard. Section 3 of Road Traffic Act refers.d, 14th June
We wish to live a few more years and there is no signage and complete disregard by some drivers for residents. Lorries and buses are very considerate.

Road menders removed bollard and left concrete and broken tarmac by replaced bollard and enormous amount of mud on cycle track, 10th March
Thanks for repairing the track but the contractor has left a mess, (piles of concrete) and a cycling hazard (mud on track and bits of tarmac), where the road sweeper got stuck 100 yards beyond the repair. The road sweeper travelled through the removed bollard for several hundred yards leaving a thick trail of mud.

Sinking footpath with permanent puddle., 26th February
The footpath opposite 2 Knoll Court, High Street has sunk slightly but is always now full of water so the depth cannot easily be seen. The sinkage is approximately 3 feet in diameter and could pose a trip hazard to pedestrians given the often parked cars on this section os footpath.
