The road outside The Old Vicarage, The Street, CT13 0QT has cracks and dips going across it that appear to be getting deeper and have worsened in the last year - there are concerns with regards to the safety of the road. The increased traffic of heavy goods vehicles makes the building vibrate when they go past as it is on the roadside and with these dips appearing in the road concerns over stability of services underneath.

Dangerous and slippery foot path, 9th January
The footpath from the entrance of Foxborough Close as far as the top of Fir Tree Hill is covered with very wet and slippery leaves and muck several inches deep and has been like this for 6 months, unable to walk safely on the footpath and have to walk in the road , as do several many elderly residents in the area.

Streetlight not working on S Bend, 6th October
Streetlight doesn't work and hasn't worked since we moved in (July 2021). There was a minor accident here which may have bene avoided if the light was working

The pothole is now half the carriageway of road and is a busy bus route, 30th March
Every time a bus or lorry drives over the huge pothole, our cottage and windows shake and I fear for the foundations of our property! It has been there for a good couple of months now and is getting worse!

Broken Street Light in Cherry Garden Lane, 14th January
This light has been off for the past six months. The last time it was 'repaired' the contractors refixed the cracked and broken diffuser with sellotape.

Broken street light, 28th December
This street light has not been working for at least 13 months. It is situated at a very dark junction near a bus stop frequented by children and elderly people. It is outrageous that nothing has been done to fix this yet the local council are quite happy to renew all of the other lights that were woprking perfectly

Inconsiderate parking in front of disabled bay., 16th January
Once again I cannot get my car out of the disabled bay (black car). I cannot walk far, so unable to knock on doors to ask them to move. This is happening a lot now!

This light has been out for at least twelve months. This is a dangerous junction frequented by HGVs. The footpaths are very dark and slippery. If you are driving you cannot even see the footpaths

Unthoughtful parking!, 25th May
I live in a cul de sac and have a disabled bay, I am fed up with not being able to get my car out, and even when I can, I am supposed to drive backwards and out of the road, not possible as always cars parked on Holness Road, so unable to see. This is all down to people parking without a thought for others. Today people going to the school to pick children up, couldn’t even get their pushchairs through. The two white vans have been doing this for months, (see dates on pics) this is all down to number 5.

Ridiculous Traffic Lights, 5th February
The traffic lights at this location turn red when you approach them, not because there is a vehicle waiting to exit the junction, just for no apparent reason! This is unneccessary and dangerous as I have whitnessed quite a few people jumping these lights as they know they are set up to turn red! These lights need altering to only turn red when a car is waiting to exit the junction.
