Blocked road surface water drains, 27th April
The 2 storm drains, and the manhole half way down the bank towards pond 1/Caesars Well are totally blocked by vegetation. As a result the road surface water floods over the kerb edging and mud bank of Westerham Road and floods the path below rendering it impassable. The 2 manholes are located between the entrance to the Keston Ponds car park and lamppost number 58W39 to the north.

The street light does not lit up., 27th April
The light pole immediately in front of our house gas not lit up for a while. It is very dark and uneven pavement becomes hazardous and sone elderly pedestrians did trip in the dark

Huge pile of sand / cement left in a pile outside house, 27th April
Building work is being carried out on 23 Oakleigh Gardens. Previously a massive pile of bricks was left outside house on the road with no warning lights. Now there is a huge pile of sand, presumably to be used for cement, outside the house left in the road obstructing the road and invisible to vehicles in the dark. No warning lights or signs. A hazard.

Badly damaged road, 26th April
I see there it lots of reports for the same issue, some dating back to 6 months ago. Not sure why it still hasn't been repaired? As others have stated, there is a length of road when the edge of the tarmac has completely gone. This is at a narrow part of the road so there is little possibility for vehicles to avoid this part of damaged road. So you have to drive over it and it causes you to serve into on coming traffic. Not sure how there hasn't been as accident caused by this.

Building hoarding blocking pavement view, 25th April
There is now building work hoarding which is blocking a clear view of the pavement on Crofton Road. There is a bus-stop opposite and one just 100m away on the same side of the road. The hoarding is set just on the boundary which prevents pedestrians from having a clear view of the pavement and the road. It only takes a child/animal to run into the road or while running for the bus and an accident is bound to happen as the view is blocked by the hoarding.

Pothole is now one long ditch!, 23rd April
The potholes along Shire Lane are just being totally ignored by Bromley Council. I have reported these on a few occassion and nothing seems to be done. The potholes have now merged in to each other on both sides of the road from North End Lane to the Larches creating a ditch...come on Bromley!! Please sort this out

Trees over hanging the bridle path, 23rd April
I live at 10 The Birches and you can see that 2 of the trees from the house behind the bridleway are leaning over the bridle path and into my garden The same homeowner has a fallen tree from the woods into the garden of 9 the birches Orpington BR68NH. I fear that the trees could come down on the bridle path and cause injury

Fly-Tipping & Litter: Green Street Green Recycling Site, 23rd April
Sun 21 Apr 2024: For the record, most residents may be unaware of the unenviable job that Veolia undertakes up to four-times-a-day clearing fly-tipped rubbish and litter dumped on and around the recycling bins in Pinewood Drive. Loose litter is left and is blown through the fence behind the bins and into the green space along Pinewood Drive where, more often than not, it is left for local volunteers to litter pick. We will continue to ask Bromley Council (ward councillors and officers), Veolia and idverde to work together on improving the 'binfrastructure' with better recycling bin design to reduce contamination, and modifications to fencing around the site to deter fly-tipping and contain loose litter. TIA
