Rubbish all along Sandy lane, 2nd May
The street sweeping frequency for roads within the borough is at least every other week for pavements while roads are swept at least once a month. This may be subject to short notice operational emergencies and supervisory inspection each time cleaning is due. This could mean that as some roads meet the required standard, they don’t need to be cleaned on every occasion while others will need to be cleaned. Cleaning can be temporarily delayed by bank holidays with streets being visited within three days of the routine scheduled visit.
Streets that require cleaning are swept either by mechanical sweeping vehicles, manual sweeping or a combination of the two operations. We try to minimise disruption and where possible, street cleaning is co-ordinated with peak traffic flow and waste and recycling collections . After grass cutting was done its 100 times worse I have done my best to pick up all the rubbish but it’s too much for me . When streets are not cleared people seem to dump more rubbish ,it’s disgusting
