Major damage to tree during verge maintenance, 29th April
Damage to a street tree, caused last Thursday, 25th April. As you can see, a large chunk of bark has been broken off. The tree is outside No 9. We all like to see our streets being cared for, but it’s pointless to plant new trees (we have several newly planted) if they are going to be mown into and strimmed by the people who should be caring for them.

Tree needs staking to the ground before incident occurs, 29th April
The tree is lifting out of the pavement and is now bending over and touching the trees of both cars outside 73 Bourne Vale Road which is causing a hazardous and dangerous problem. There was 2 stakes which planted the tree down but there is 1 stake now and this needs the issue being resolved. There will be an issue as the tree is moving around in the wind and needs to be stabilised. This has been going on for a few weeks.

Rubbish, 29th April
The street bin outside our house is again becoming a problem. It is constantly overflowing with rubbish and more recently household waste that is seemingly being left on a Saturday (in particular) from the users of the school grounds. I clean this litter up regularly and have it removed with our own household waste. I will no longer be doing this. Please can we have the bin removed……it is not required and will force parents to take their rubbish home with them!!
