V bright white light causing health issues and the light shield has been removed, 6th May
Hello I have a street light approx 9 ft from my bedroom window and that of my lodger too. It is incredibly bright and is causing insomnia for us both. I have spent £200 on black out curtains but it is still too bright. In the past you very kindly put up a shield on the light so that it didn’t shine so brightly on my house. This was very helpful. It was also a softer more orange light in the past.
However, This shield has been removed and a brighter white light has been installed with no shield on it and I and my lodger are both am really suffering with insomnia because of this.despite the black out curtains. Please can you help by putting up another substantial shield that stops the light from shining back into my windows? Many thanks Cathy Mills

Missing double yellow lines, 5th May
Some months ago a few signs were posted indicating that there were going to be double yellow lines added to this section of the road but no works has started yet. At the moment cars park across the driveway of the Dye Works Flats and block access for multiple cars. They are also parked up on the kerb making it so you cannot use the pavement. Are there still scheduled roadworks for this road to add in the double yellow lines? If not, would it be possible to raise this as an item for consideration? Thank you
