Blocked road gulley, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 11:29:00 +0100
51.469878 -2.601044

Been blocked for months. Further to my other 2 reports of blocked gullies further down Redland road, the combined effect of all the blocked gullies results in significant flows in the gutter which in heavy rain overfloows on to pavements and then floods the mini roundabout with Zetland Road.

Bird mess continually obstructing path making it slippery and impassable., 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 11:46:21 +0100
51.477227 -2.6106

Hi, we live at 15 Florence Park and this year the trees on our side of the road haven't been cut back as they usually are (only on the opposite side). Consequently we are having real problems with faeces from birds in the tree outside our house which is soiling the pavement outside, and the entrance to the path to our front door. The only way we can remove it is with a jet washer but we can't do this daily. We really need some help as on some days the entrance the house is not at all accessible.

Been here a couple of months or more. Reported as flytipping via council website. Never removed. It's on the verge adjacent to Clarence Road where 3 paths meet, backing onto #17 and 19 Hassell Drive, very close to small substation.

Construction waste dumped, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 09:15:56 +0100
51.457136 -2.575544

This has been here for months - been reported to flytipping website, but never removed. It's at the edge of the park where the path meets Trinity street and the end of Hassell Drive (next to last house, #2 I think). V similar to the other construction waste in Newtown Park, reported here twice and still in the system. Now getting very overgrown, so harder to notice, but several piles if you look.

North end of boardwalk has detached from masonry supports, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 09:10:28 +0100
51.453527 -2.586451

The joists supporting the end of the boardwalk have detached from the adjacent solid pavement. So the whole thing is nearly unsupported at one end and bounces up and down like a trampoline Other parts of the decking are also beginning to show signs of age

Construction waste been dumped, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 09:06:09 +0100
51.45746 -2.573613

This has been here months. Reported to flytipping multiple times - never been removed. It's in the flowerbed by the small grass area that houses on Hayes Close and Hassell Drive back onto, specifically next to the side of #31 Hayes Close. There is other flytipping round here too in the alleys, eg a bed headboard. This is prettuch identical waste to that I reported in Newtown Park in multiple locations, eg by trees next to Salvation Army carpark, near park entrance (north side), and near bin on bike path where 2 paths converge (near new climbing frame).

Tree is very loose in ground and is beginning to dry out., 25th April

Thu, 25 Apr 2024 21:24:33 +0100
51.463783 -2.607393

This tree is leaning to one side as it seems to be loose in the ground. I pushed it gently and it moved quite a bit. The top leaves of the tree seem to be drying out. It may have been planted recently and not heeled in properly. It would be a pity to lose it, so could someone check it out as soon as possible as we may be in for a spell of hot weather which could damage it permanently. I just noticed it today as I don't pass along that road often. Thank you.

Dilapidated building covered in fly-tipping poses health and safety risk to community, 25th April

Thu, 25 Apr 2024 14:04:43 +0100
51.46614 -2.567228

This building, in a sorry state of disrepair and inhabited by unknown and unseen residents, has sadly become a constant magnet for fly-tipping. The rubbish is never adequately managed, left to fester, and continues to be a persistent blight on our community. Adding to our concerns, the boundary wall along Nicholas Road is noticeably bowing and deteriorating rapidly. It's reached a worrying point where there's a genuine risk it could collapse onto the road, posing a significant danger to both people and vehicles. It's crucial that immediate action is taken to address these urgent issues, ensuring the safety of the public and restoring the appearance and functionality of our neighbourhood.

Further input on issue 5506855, 25th April

Thu, 25 Apr 2024 12:23:10 +0100
51.462663 -2.599677

You have closed my previous report and I am therefore unable to reply to your message. Please explain why you believe that this is not urgent? This hole has increased in size with the drain now being used as a bin by pedestrians with waste building up. It is also preventing access of all vehicles to the Hambledon House car park. Not only does this mean that we are unable to park there (but do not qualify for a street permit as we have another car) but it would also prevent access in an emergency to emergency vehicles. Please provide an update on the date that this will be fixed. The issue was raised 3 months ago and we are becoming increasingly frustrated.

Signs turned around (again), 25th April

Thu, 25 Apr 2024 12:11:58 +0100
51.464028 -2.590198

Frustrating that you closed this without sorting... The road signs have been turned round at the top of the 1-way section so it is very unclear that there is NO ENTRY - hence drivers go the wrong way. As mentioned, this has been reported before & has been fixed, but someone has again turned them round. Please sort ASAP
