Pavement is incredibly uneven, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 15:56:21 +0100
51.458627 -2.555994

The right hand side of Milton Park (as you walk up it - or where the even numbers are) is incredibly bumpy and dangerous, whenever it rains, there's massive puddles outside our houses, which we have to navigate. Its a hazard for residents with pushchairs and for young children who are likely to trip over. It has been this way for many years and needs addressing.

A dozen potholes over 100 yards, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 15:10:10 +0100
51.45433 -2.566729

Along Barton Hill Road from Fripp Close to Queen Ann Road there are at least a dozen significant pot holes. I've included a photo of the longest most severe one. There's another two you already have reported where Queen Ann Road meets Barton Hill Road, but these holes cover a long stretch of road - if you're coming to fix that one you may as well close the road and fix all of these at the same time. Really dangerous for cyclists and drivers alike who swerve to avoid them.

2 Lanes into 3, who has the middle lane?, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 13:07:36 +0100
51.464752 -2.573098

Hello, I see a lot of near-misses or road rage being caused by this 2 lane road going into 3 lanes. Just before the merge, Lane 1 has a left+straight arrow, making that lane correct for going into Lane 1 +2 off the main road. While Lane 2 of the minor road only has a straight on arrow, meaning its for Lane 3 of the major road. However, the average driver seems to ignore/misread the road markings and there's often a fight for the middle lane. I think some dotted/dashed lines, like used on roundabouts would help prevent these near-misses and help the flow of traffic.

Giant Hogweed, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 09:22:23 +0100
51.46206 -2.578357

I saw this this morning growing out of base of wall on pavement. Person with bare legs could brush against it, causing nasty photosensitive rash. Someone I showed photo to asked 'Is it rhubarb?' No, it isn't, it is poisonous - its saps causes severe blisters by making skin photo sensitive. Don't touch it with bare hands.

I have been asking you for several years to renew the double yellow lines on Bloomfield Road between Churchill Road and Conway Road ,its the entrance to a lane where both roads have garages and we are constantly being unable to exit or enter due to people parking on the yellow lines and blocking the lane. As Churchill Road was resurfaced recently can you please ask the Road marking guy not to forget my request.
