Broken footbridge near Watercress Farm, 27th July
Part of the footbridge has collapsed. The wood is quite slippery. There is no other way by foot over the Land Yeo. I've no idea when this happened.

Suggestion - dangerous junction, 5th July
Junction of Portbury Lane and B3128 becomes dangerous during peak times. Can be very hard to turn right from Portbury Lane across quing traffic B3128 and the through flow of traffic on B3128. Though I hate to say it traffic lights may be needed or a roundabout ?
Junction of Wraxall Hill 1/2 mile to the west is also dangerous when turning on to B3128 - limited vision and fast traffic both directions.

Traffic lights not going green when cars waiting, 22nd May
The sensors on the traffic lights as you drive from Weston Road to Clevedon Road / Beggar Bush Lane sometimes do not recognize cars and therefore does not automatically change green. This is especially true for 55 Weston Road where the car pulling left from the drive is never recognized and leaves a queue of cars behind until it is realized there is a fault, at which point it is up to the front car to do a 3 point turn and go another way (which can be quite dangerous there). This has also been oberserved for cars not pulling out from 55 Weston Road so the sensor / traffic light logic should be investigated as this causes unnecessary delays and dangerous 3 point turns at traffic lights.

Continually flooding road, 10th August
After heavy rain the dip in the road floods. Drainage has been put in but is not coping - the flood can last 2 or more days. Possibly the drains are not being regularly cleaned.

Visibility hazard turning right onto Cleveland Rd, 25th July
There is a parked JCB on the verge and a temporary sign, that blocks visibility for traffic turning right from Portbury Lane onto Cleveland Road. This is a busy. 60mph road where turning right means checking carefully for oncoming traffic. The parked JCBcand, to a lesser extent, the temporary sign, mean drivers cannot easily check on their right. The sign was there on Thursday and the JCB is there today.

Street light broken, 11th November
There are 2 lights directly as you turn into Woodland Way, Failand. The first light was constantly going out and was successfully repaired with a modern lightly system. The second light which has also been repaired several times was not and again this is not working. As you know Failand has very little lighting and is very dark if one light is taken out.

Overgrown trees obscuring brown Tyntesfield sign, 20th July
When driving along the B3128 towards Tyntesfield, the brown sign opposite the entrance to Tyntesfield is badly obscured by overhanging trees, and can only be seen just before reaching the entrance. This morning the car in front of me, saw the sign too late, stopped on the road and then reversed back to the entrance. The tree needs to be cut back urgently to avoid an accident.
