This pot hole has got progressively larger over the last 6months and you have done nothing about it. It has rapidly increased in size and depth over the last few weeks and is getting larger. Due to its position and with cars parked on both sides of the road on what is an already narrow road it is now near impossible to avoid and is at risk of causing damage to cars and injury to people on peddle bikes and motorbikes.

Double Yellow Lines extending too far from corner, 25th April

Thu, 25 Apr 2024 18:48:09 +0100
51.443309 -2.557595

The double yellow lines extending from the corner of Whitby road up both sides of Bloomfield have been capped and shortened for many years. However the new tarmac covering the old lines regularly wears off (every year or so) and means that incorrect parking tickets are issued to residents parking legally by parking officers who are unaware of the current extent of the lines. PLEASE can these old lines be covered permanently by hardwearing tarmac to the new shorter extent. These incorrect fines are a nuisance to people parking legally, and must be causing an unnecessary administrative burden to the council when they are inevitably cancelled.
