Continuously flooding on B3130 when raining. Dangerous to walk along road and when driving, water undermining my boundary wall. Drains not adequate., 15th April
The B3130 in this location is continuously being flooded, the drains in B3130 and Norton Lane are not adequate and quickly become blocked making it impossible to walk along and dangerous for vehicles having to maneover around. Water is undermining the foundations of my stone boundary wall and ruining my lawn. This also affects Stanton Drew Service Station adjacent to my property Druids Peep. This has been the situation for many months and is now unacceptable. Your help would be much appreciated by many of us in Stanton Drew. Thank you, Carolynne Marshall

Blocked drains in road that floods, 13th April
I last reported this problem in 2022, it was never resolved. This road has flooded, to an impassable level 5 times this year.

Please find attached uploaded pictures of the pothole outside our property 2, Northfields, BS40 8RW. This is causing great problems to our vehicles.

As reported previously the drain is still blocked but when it rains standing water builds up and eventually crosses the road at this location. The more serious aspect is the fact that there is continuing problem with the mains drainage in this specific location with faecal matter and toilet paper coming out of the drains in the same area and crossing the road. The result is that the two waters become mixed. My concern is that this represents a serious public health problem as pedestrians, dogs and cars have no alternative but to go through this water. This must be resulting the uncontrolled spread of faecal microbes in the area. Fixing the drain blockage would do much to remove this problem. Wessex Water are attempting to deal with the mains drainage problem but their efforts to clean the faecal matter are not helped by the blocked road drain., 12th April
Please see above - on-going problem for weeks. The water has drained away for now but the problem will return when it rains again. I say again the blocked road drain is adding to the public health problem associated wit the blocked mains drain.

Junction of Nutgrove Lane and Battle Lane, 5th April
I'm adding to report reference 5785967. This has become more urgent as there is a sewer manhole discharging raw sewage at the same location. The rain water now covers all the road and is combining with the sewage which cannot drain away. I've reported the sewage problem to Wessex.

Junction of Nutgrove Lane and Battle Lane, Chew Magna, 30th March
The road here has been flooded up to a foot depth and covering approx 250 sq ft. There are, I think, about 3 connected surface water drains around this area, It appears that the main flagged drain is not taking away any water. The drain cover is not blocked (the usual cause of this problem which is easily resolved by us). Probing the drain it feels like they are silted up and presumably therefore, not working. Many thanks.
