Two drains in Dolberrow are overflowing and have been doing so for two weeks. The remainder of the road has dried since heavy rain, but these two drains continue to cause a problem. It is likely there is a blockage further down the road, causing the water to back up.

A large pothole that is approx 2ft by 2 ft and 12cm deep, 5th March
This pothole is huge and the depth is deceptively deep due to water. This hole has buckled both near side wheels on my car requiring them to be replaced. Other vehicles will be damaged if they go through this. Avoiding it is difficult due to its location on a blind bend. Location in what3words is ///debating.popped.permanent

Very noisy manhole cover, 21st December
The man hole cover outside the church has become very noisy with a ‘clunking’ noise when a car drives over it (which is very often!) which is disruptive to church services and local residents are struggling to sleep.

Pot holes Station Road and Cross roads at the traffic lights, 15th May
These potholes and gullies in the Road especially at the cross roads in Backwell. Not only damaging cars, it is difficult to negotiate a part of the road that has not got a pothole and craters which must severely damage the tyres. It is a disgrace why nothing has been done as it has gradually been getting worse for months. Station Road that runs through to Nailsea is just as bad. The whole thing is being made worse with the big construction lorries that also use these Roads. You must be paying out thousands getting cars that must be claiming for damages. What are we paying road tax for?

The traffic signs on the turning into Shipham have slipped down the pole. This means when pulling out of Shipham into the A38 you have severely reduced visibility

New Road suffers from amazing amounts of litter possibly because there are garages at both ends with take away food with throw away packaging.
