Road markings worn, 29th February
These lines need remarking as they are worn out. Parking outside of 167 blocks the drive and access to the care team that attends next door several times a day. School pick up/drop off and staff and visitors to the old people’s place opposite is causing problems. We had signs outside but it would be great if the lines could be remarked. I have approached Kelly Bros Ltd but was told the road belongs to the local council.

Footpath are not ok, 10th February
Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings of the day. Just would like to apprise you that we cannot walk from rodborough to war memorial yate. Foot path is covered with grass for half way. It's risky to walk as cars come at high speeds. Request you to have a look and help people who depend on walking instead of car or bus.
Have a great day ahead. Thanks & Regards, Prasad S Billahalli

Appalling amount of litter, 22nd January
Guys,
Now the verges have been trimmed back the amount of litter smashed up and surfaced is staggering. This dreadful condition extends on mainly the LHS from the roundabout at the railway bridge junction with Shire Way, all the way to the railway bridge at Wapley. This is always like this - how about some cameras as it will be easy to see the culprits. Its a total mess

Light STILL on permanently, 24/7, 21st January
"Reported via desktop in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 21:38, Saturday 6 January 2024
Sent to South Gloucestershire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5406913.
A non-standard, non-statutory 30mph sign is lit permanently, excessively brightly, which dazzles at night causing danger to road users, despite it meant to make the road safer. Stop this being lit 24/7 please, it creates more danger than it stops."
30mph sign is STILL lit permanently dazzling every driver that passes at night. This is DANGEROUS for all road users especially pedestrians trying to cross at the island as drivers are DAZZLED.

Signage to facilities vandalised, 8th January
The signage opposite Moorland Road, shows 2 signs, 1 for the Methodist Church & 1 for Sunnyside facilities. These have been moved, maybe deliberately and do not point down Moorland Road. The picture, one of them taken from Moorland Road, shows them pointing to the right. Also, I requested a few months ago for a new sign to be erected, stating 'Yate Bowls Club'. This could go on the same pole pointing down Moorland Road. It makes sense to erect this at the same time you are correcting the other signs. This is badly needed as we have many visitors from other clubs, who struggle to find us, causing issues in their driving. I hope you can fix this by Easter, in time for new bowls season.
