Temporary traffic lights with one lane closed and no roadworks in progress?, 22nd February
A set of temporary traffic lights, cones and signs have been setup on Park Road Thornbury BS35 1HP between the entrance road to Sheiling School and the exit road for Thornbury Castle Hotel and Restaurant, these have been setup for at least the past 4 days, yet there is no indication through these roadworks that any work is in progress or is due to commence and no notification in the nearby vicinity to notify residents and road users if the intended work is being carried out by the council, a utility company or other contractor.

6/7 potholes on Morton way (as if you are driving towards Swallow Park, just before entrance to shrew gardens) they were sorted a few months ago but now they are all back again

Car obstructing view of intersection, 8th November
A white van has been parked on the corner of Hazel Crescent and Orchard Avenue for several weeks now. I am not sure who the owner is as the van hasn't moved in weeks. It is parked on the kerb and obstructs the view of the intersection. This is a well-used road for children walking to and from school and they are having to unnecessarily cross and re-cross the road as they can't see if the road is clear. Also, I've noted parents with small children in pushchairs are having to venture out into the road to make sure no cars are coming which is completely unsafe. As a resident of Hazel Crescent, I myself struggle to see into the road when driving from my house and there have been several near misses with cars driving too quickly into the intersection.

Car obstructing a double bend, 5th November
I have had 2 near misses due to this vehicle parked obstructing the double blind bend. I have my 2 kids in my car with me every day. One day it’s going to cause a serious accident. I have put a note on his car letting him know it’s dangerous and he continues to park there. Can’t ever get hold of the police and I don’t have much faith in the system so thought I would put it on here?
