Terrible parking on pavement and road, 13th April

Sat, 13 Apr 2024 09:58:46 +0100
51.519498 -2.537807

Several cars from nearby houses park on the junction of Parsons Avenue and Couzens place, either parking on the pavement meaning I cannot get my pram past, and no way a wheel chair could, causing a total obstruction meaning people have to step out into the road, I cant imagine how this affects those with mobility issues. Also recently cars have starting parking in the road, so badly that the recycling lorry could not get through and it also causes a blind spot for other drivers. This must stop and these cars need ticketing

Hatched Box, 30th March

Sat, 30 Mar 2024 20:46:06 +0000
51.521665 -2.531058

The round about could do with having hatched markings on its entrances. As the traffic using Winterbourne Road will often blocking the car’s exiting Bradley Stoke and continuing on to the Stoke Gifford bypass. This would be a relatively cheap way (cheaper than Traffic Lights) and would improve the traffic flow for Bradley Stoke during rush hours.

I joined the west bound m4 from jct 19 pulled to the middle lane to find the surface uneven and made my vehicle feel like I had a flat /puncture it felt like a caterpillar track had driven over the tarmac, surely this isn’t correct .

Electronic over lane sign, 2nd April

Tue, 02 Apr 2024 13:26:06 +0100
51.530091 -2.531408

The first left side lane sign over the first lane on the managed m4 almondbury interchange as you head towards Bristol M32 slip road etc. The lane sign along the whole way is showing a cross/closed sign this last 2 days and there is no issue at all. It appears to be stuck on the cross/closed causing heavy traffic for no reason in the 2nd lane.

Potholes near the merging lane, 21st March

Thu, 21 Mar 2024 12:40:02 +0000
51.505228 -2.542049

There are numerous potholes in the lane where you merge into the left lane to go left. This means in order to make these potholes you have to drive further down the middle lane. This needs to be fixed ASAP so it is possible to merge lanes

Overgrown trees and bushes blocking pavements and going into road, 21st March

Thu, 21 Mar 2024 12:09:09 +0000
51.528837 -2.53814

Apologies as I do not think the photo's show the full extent of the problem. There are a few trees which are branching out into the road to the extent that they may hit vehicles (particularly large ones). One of these is also on a blind corner. There are also overgrown trees/hedge/brambles blocking use of the pavement. In places there is a good 3ft of pavement blocked and when cars park on the pavement as well (avoiding the trees?) it is not possible to use the pavement at all and you have to walk in the road. Not good if you have little ones / prams etc

Void has opened up in pavement near the sewers, 21st March

Thu, 21 Mar 2024 12:00:44 +0000
51.528837 -2.53814

This is close to no. 50 directly above the drains in the road. Not sure how long it has been there but it is a couple of months at least and I can see moss on the inside. I think the hole may also be growing. Quite a few dog walkers in the area so some concerns about injury to dogs and/or people if it keeps growing!
