Long fissure in road from 516 Portway to 500 Portway, 26th March
This piece of road has been deteriorating for a while but the hole is getting bigger, the material from the hole is being spread across the carriageway. The lorries that use this road are obviously making it worse and often make the houses shake as they pass.

Smashed, dangerous steps between Station Road and St Bernard’s Road, 26th March
This problem has been reported twice through this portal, since September 2023, and as far as I can tell the matter has been closed twice without action or further comment. This is not satisfactory: the situation is dangerous to pedestrians, particularly the elderly or children using that path to access the local school, the shopping area, etc. This is a well used pathway and should not be left to crumble into hazardous rubble. Please do not close this ticket without giving an indication of how and when the matter will be fixed - not just closed.

We have some encroaching trees that are not within our boundary. The trees have fallen over and damaged the fence line boundary between our site and the woodland behind, there is concern that if they continue to fall they could cause structural damage to our building.

5265381 why was this case closed when the issue is still there and not fixed.
Please refer to the original reference - why has BCC closed it when it is not fixed.

Issues following resurfacing of pavement, 28th February
Resident unhappy due to poor standard of works, carried out by the contractors doing pavement resurfacing in the area, roads include Springfield Avenue, Station road, Church leaze, and he has also noticed lots of posts on Avonmouth Facebook page, Where weeds cutback to clear pavement, they have been blown off and left in the road, the finish of the tarmac has been left messy , Blade marks have been left/ lumpy everywhere. Council tax payer not happy that money is being wasted like this. Can you take a look at the work and check standards are how they should be
