The pay and display machine at the top of Tyndalls Park road accepted my £3 fee but did not issue a ticket. I tried to use it on 09/05/24 @ 7.45 AM. This was frustrating because I had to move and find another pay and display parking spot and machine. I was late for an appointment and obviously had to pay another £3 to park.

New Street furniture is blocking the gully. delivery and parking area, 9th May
A new planter has been installed without any planning or consultation. The cars exiting the garages from the houses are having trouble getting around the obstruction. It is also blocking the gullley causing flooding. It is also an obstruction as deliveries can no longer pull over put now have to block the one way street.

Parking in bus stop means bus can’t stop to drop off patients, 9th May
For 2 days running the U1 bus has failed to stop at the BRI bus stop. The driver said it wasn’t safe to do so because cars were illegally parked in the bus stop. The next stop is too far a walk from the hospital as a chemo patient so I got a taxi which made me late and was an unnecessary cost. Apparently it is the council’s job to sort this out? I hope you can help.

Bike stand completely loose, no security for bikes, 9th May
The centre one of these three stands is wobbling and I (a feeble person) can easily lift it out of the ground - please could it be fixed as it will otherwise be a gift to our many bike thieves! Apologies if this is already a work in progress, I can see the other 2 stands have had remedial work fairly recently

Full gulley causes lake onto pavement in storm, 9th May
Council pretends to have fixed this via progressive computer clicks in office but on ground nothing has been done at all. Frost Road Gritting and tyre mud on this busy road mean more frequent emptying of drains is essential. Drain is full and wont clear intense rain.

Large pothole at junction of Ashton Vale Road and Winterstoke Road, 9th May
Large pothole where Ashton Vale Road meets Winterstoke Road, it needs longer term repairs not just filling in. It took weeks to fill it in before and due to the large number of heavy vehicles using the junction it reappears quickly.

Sprayed lenses on lights, 8th May
The bridge lighting has been sprayed red again. Lighting is now dim, and it feels unsafe at night. Can the lights be moved from the side where they are reachable, to the overhead gantries which are higher.

Large crack in manhole, metal plate falls down by 10cm when driving over, 8th May
This pothole on a manhole cover has grown larger over the past 2 months. When vehicles drive over it, the manhole cover shifts and moves downwards into the access hole by 10cm. It is only a matter of time before the covering falls through, and the manhole is exposed and a car crashes down it. Severe issue

Downed bus stop, 8th May
I reported this downed bus stop oner 8 weeks ago so did 2 others. Nothing has been done to rectify. The bus stop is propped up behind the phone box by pub. And the cone over the stump is constantly being moved and mucked about with. Should have been repaired by now.
