From the electric sub station to the south end of Shaveswood Lane, the hedges on the East side have not been cut back for ages and are now narrowing the carriage way causing some vehicles to use both sides of the lane. It is particularly bad opposite Wickwoods and at the junction with the A281 where Road signs cannot be seen until with six metres of signs. All need cutting back to one metre from the edge of the highway.

8-10 inch pothole on western side of road., 30th November
A large pothole, around 8-10 inches deep, has formed on the western side of the road. As the road is narrow and busy, oncoming traffic means having to hit the pothole square-on which could lead to serious damage to tyres and suspension. This area has no streetlighting so it is also hazardous when driving in the dark. It may also be hazardous to cyclists especially during dark mornings/evenings.
