Multiple pot holes, 6th April

The road running from The white Horse Pub to Windmill Hill is littered with so many potholes and large areas of the road that is down to hardcore in places. There are large loose stones all across the road. It is impossible almost to avoid the potholes and it is like an unmade road. The whole road needs digging up and relaying.

The end of Toll Lane toward Prinkle Lane is awful. It appears to have 'sunk' on one side. So the choice now is scrape the exhaust of drive to the very side and risk shredding tyres on the edge of what remains of the road. It worst by the farm..... Just drive down there and you literally can't miss it! Been bad for ages, but seems to have got a lot worse very quickly. Now taking other routes to avoid more damage to vehicle!

Approx 10ft long 2.5 ft wide before turn off to Joe's Lane and blind corner up Victoria lane, 22nd January

Fri, 22 Jan 2021 11:10:26 +0000
50.887783 0.342817

The edges of the road have been eroding and collapsing for several months and now long deep potholes have formed all along this small stretch of Victoria road. There is a car parked on opposite side to bank, forcing more cars onto these edges. If you try to avoid them coming up the hill you have to drive into middle of road just before a blind corner. No chance of avoiding if you meet another car/lorry. Over 4 inches deep, and 10 feet long, but often full of water so when driving can't tell how deep. Unsafe for pedestrians too, as there is no pavement and nowhere to go except down the hole. The inevitable legacy of the 10 month digging up of this part of the road ( for the second time) for laying of new sewage pipes (or 2 years if you include the sewage treatment works upgrade which increased heavy truck/lorries traffic threefold) and the constant diversions down these small unsuitable roads because of all the road closures. Our roads are in a shocking state.
