Whole section broken up, 24th February
This whole section of road on the one way section of Richmond Road is full of long, deep ruts and potholes. Particularly difficult to negotiate safely on a motorcycle or push bike and getting deep enough to need to avoid with a car. It's been like this for ages.

Drain Cover Raised, 6th December
This drain cover, which forms part of the pavement, has been driven on numerous times and has broken loose. Now if a vehicle is on it there is a significant trip hazard.
This is a narrow pavement which is very busy due to proximity to a primary school

Pothole badly and barely "repaired". Absolutely shocking "workmanship"., 29th September
Pothole badly and barely "repaired". Absolutely shocking "workmanship", workers cleared the pothole with their hands and threw some tarmac into the hole. Missed a big chunk in the middle. Disgusting excuse for a repair. Doesn't match the existing road surface either, won't hold. Making the area look absolutely awful. Dangerous. I've fallen into the pothole once before it was repaired and damaged my ankle and again since its alleged "repair".

Opposite entrance to beachlands, 28th September
Road was partially dug up for water leak and this is the repair. Not acceptable as a friend just missed on his racing bike…dangerous for drivers and motorcycles too

Repair carried out on coast Road almost opposite entrance to Marine Ave Beachlands by Clancy on behalf of SE Water is appalling., 28th September
This year Coast Road in this part of Coast Rd was repaired by East Sussex CC using a resin mix because nothing else icluding just shuffing tarmack into parts of a pot hole will stick to the original concrete pebble mix. Utility companies or their contractors need to have it specified by ESCC that any making good of roads in this area needs doing with the resin mix used elsewhere in the road. Otherwise, residents get angry with this ridiculous repair and Council staff get a lot of this type of complaints to deal with which I'm sure you can do without. Can you ensure Clancy are required to return ASAP and fix the road surface and specify the resin mix that should be used

Several potholes on the carriageway at the mouth of Eastbourne Avenue in line with the footpath along Coast Road . As it is in the area of tarmac footpath across the road junction it creates a trip hazard for pedestrians walking along Coast Road
