Entire road needs resurfacing, numerous trenches and potholes, 15th April

Mon, 15 Apr 2024 20:24:28 +0100
50.76652 0.284391

This road is in a disgraceful condition. There is almost nothing left of it. Numerous large potholes, previously filled potholes (pictured on google street view) have long worn away and the potholes have returned, no visible road markings. This road forms part of the A259, a major route through Eastbourne used by visitors and tourists, and this is the state of the roads we welcome them with. This road has two lanes, and is currently un usable for that purpose as vehicles literally drive down it weaving from left to right dodging the craters. Needs full resurfacing.

Multiple cracked and lifted pavement slabs, 27th March

The pavement has multiple cracks, and lots are moving, making a very dangerous footway. I have seen people trip on numerous occasions over the last month. Some exceed 4cm and lots are around 2 to 3cm. They send water and debris up trouser legs too!!
