Accident damaged flint retaining wall, 4th December
A vehicle hit this flint retaining wall over 18months ago. It has not been repaired. Being a structural retaining wall it is now deteriorating further, with large pieces of debris regularly falling into the road causing a hazard. Another large piece of wall is now breaking away next to the post box. This is a highway safety issue.

Overgrown footpath, 4th December
Overgrown footpath with less than half of it's potential width usable, making it very difficult to walk dogs or use a pushchair safely pushing you very close to a very busy road. This is a safety issue. Very muddy and slippery when wet.

Overgrown footpath, 2nd December
Footpath is overgrown. Only half of it's width is usable. Difficult to stay on the footpath with dogs or pushchair and you are forced to walk in the road. This is a public safety issue.

Spilt oil hazard., 24th February
There is a long trail of spilt oil at this junction. I photographed it today. Two weeks ago my friend and fellow cyclist slid and came off his bike on this oil which was then covered in water. He cracked his ribs, suffered multiple cuts and grazes and damaged an expensive carbon bike. The oil need’s removing without delay before another cyclist or motorcyclist is seriously hurt. I would guess the oil has been dropped from a farm vehicle or oilcloth delivery vehicle when turning the corner.

Untaxed car parked on double yellow lines in lay-by, 19th December
Vehicle has been parked in the lay-by on double yellow lines for 3 days and I believe it is untaxed. The lay-by is on the B2139 at Houghton, West Sussex approximately 100 metres north of The George and Dragon public house.

A broken cover, 20th January
Were is a broken cover and brick leaving a hole near the side of the road as a parish council I have put some stone by the hole just in case a childen fells in to it. I'm move then happy to meet someone on site because I belive it to dangers
