Tree branches low, at face level, obstructing the footway and soon the carriageway, 28th March
For whom it may concern,
As a Highway Authority, it is our responsibility to keep the footway and carriageway clear, however please be advised that the obstruction comes from a tree that is part of a land registered on the name "National Highways".
Please note that we are unable to raise any safety repair jobs/cutting vegetation or branches.
As the tree is part of your property, please consider to arrange for these to be cut back, so the footway is no longer obstructed.

Tree branches low, at face level, obstructing the footway and soon the carriageway, 26th March
The branches of a tree coming from this property, has been reported to us, West Sussex County Council, by a member of public. We have visited the site, and the tree in question is part of a land that is registered on Land Registry as being National Highways land. I can confirm that the tree in question is obstructing the footway, and we would like to request this to be maintained. If this land has been sold in the meantime, please do let us know who is the new owner of the land in question. The tree in question is next to the roundabout heading south on Ford Road, Arundel.

Pothole has been getting steadily worse over the last few weeks and today (11th March) has caused a puncture to my tyre and damage to the wheel at approximately 19:00.

Large deep pothole, 10th March
There are many potholes in this country lane. I avoided one on the right side of the lane, causing my car to hit a very large deep pothole on the left side which was hidden in a large puddle. The impact caused instant tyre deflation and the tyre to leave the wheel rim. I had to call the breakdown service to get the wheel swapped. A local person I spoke to said the pothole had been there a long time and had caused many cars to be damaged by it.

2 x 12 inch potholes kerbside, 24th December
Both potholes have been there for many weeks and continue to get worse. Road is narrow and with cars driving in opposite direction on other side of road there is no way to avoid the potholes. Vehicle can't help but drop hard into potholes causing damage to wheels

Overgrown and low hanging branches, now making the road dangerous, 21st November
There are low hanging branches and over grown bushes, which is now making pedestrian journeys dangerous, as they have to walk close to the edge of the pavement, along the busy, Ford Road Arundel, close to the junction with the Ford Road Roundabout.
This issue has been ongoing for several months. It was logged on this site in August. Please can the vegetation and tree branches by cut back. thank you
