Road diversion signs are confusing drivers, 11th April
Road diversion signs directing drivers away from the closed A27 route are directing drivers into Mash Barn Estate, turning left on Grinstead Lane into Mash Barn Lane because there’s also another diversion in place at Curvins Way by Southernwater. Even though a sign as you turn into Mash Barn Lane says NO ACCESS to A27, it should be on Grinstead Lane on the corner of Mash Barn Lane. The diversion is causing an extreme amount of traffic onto the estate at night and there are several weekend closures planned on the A27 starting this weekend.

Crack in the concert, 9th April
There are two cracks in the concert of my Road and when any vehicle drives up or down on these cracks it makes a thumb noise through my Bungalow and it is even a lot worse at night time and it sound like a bomb going off. I believe want should be done is to tar mac my Road completely.

Multiple pot holes., 28th March
There are multiple pot holes on this road close together. No way to avoid them due to the amount of parked cars on one side. This is a bus route. This route is also used alot more recently to get to Mash Barn Lane due to a road closure on Curvins Way for all traffic coming out of New Monks Park.

Yellow Lines, 19th March
The yellow lines etc. through the length of Elm Grove are now so worn as to be hardly visible and therefore parking restrictions are unenforceable. The result is that on the BLIND bend adjacent to Burrell Avenue, cars are parking where there is a restriction. Because of the speed at which many vehicles approach that bend, it is only a matter of time before there is a head on collision.

2 very large potholes one on either side of road., 15th March
There are 2 dangerous potholes on West Street either side of Alishaan restaurant. One pothole surrounds a drain is a repeated problem and is particularly deep and very dangerous. The other is on the other side of the road and to the west. It also causes vehicles to swerve to a lesser extent. Both holes have been present for some time maybe a month or more. The one surrounding the drain has been repeatedly botched - at one point it looked like someone laid a piece of board across and filled it with asphalt.

Temporary flood lighting which is in place on the new roudnabout for Monks Farm hosuing estate is too low., 7th March
The temporary flood lighting is too low, it is very dangerous as it is blinding and dazzling, you can't even see onto the roundabout and when you are travelling around the roundabout. This needs to be dealt with immediately because it is a hazard on the road. It affects vision because it is so bright and positioned right into the drivers eyes. I cannot believe the highways agency have done this. Please make sure the structure is RAISED.

Closed public toilets, 4th March
These public toilets have been closed for several months. The sign says this is due to vandalism and unsociable behaviour. However, this has been the case for several months and the public who use the facilities expect the damage to have been repaired by now and the toilets opened again.

Possible blocked drain with uneven footpath causing large and merging puddles and runoff, 14th February
There is a possible blocked drain outside 39 Upper Brighton Rd Sompting. I’d also like to report flooding on the footpath adjacent to my driveway that causes large puddles to merge and then runoff from the road going down my driveway and into garden. I believe the flooding on the footpath is due to uneven surface that causes large and merging puddles. I am happy to provide photographic evidence.
