1 man has been living in a caravan for a while now that has been reported. Now more caravans and horseboxes are parking up behind peoples houses and seem to have people living in them too. Residents are getting concerned for their own safety.

3 x potholes dangerous, 2nd May
3 of 3, this is on westbound carriageway, where near side wheel hits it. It is just in front of the second pothole I have just reported. You cannot miss it unless you move into the centre of the road. This set of potholes needs a complete proper patch not keep throwing good money after bad again and again.

1 of 3 report There is a large pot hole on the westbound carriageway that stretches from the offside wheel to the double white lines. You are forced to cross onto the opposite carriageway to miss it. You repaired this about 2 weeks ago but the tarmac came straight out.

Dip in driveway, 30th April

Very dangerous collection of potholes. Causing vehicles to either brake very sharply to reduce impact, or to cross over double white lines onto incoming traffic. Issue present for 4+ weeks, getting worse daily.

Missing White obstruction line, 25th April
Dear Sir or Madam My name is Mr Ian Brown. My address is:- 17 Rose Walk Close Newhaven East Sussex BN9 9NL Around 26/03/24, Balfour Beatty begun roadworks outside our property on your behalf. They removed all the tarmac Surface, in which included my solid White parking observation line. I've already reported this matter to you. However Vehicles are parking outside my property, making it very difficult to get our disability Vehicle on and off our driveway. Please could I have this line replaced. Also the road surface around a drain between my address and 15 Rose Walk Close gets flooded when it rains because, the road surface is not been raised up enough to be level. Please can you handle these matters for me. Both My Wife and I are disabled.

2 x bollards vandalised and missing, 25th April
2 X bollards have been removed. This now means that vehicles will be parking up on the pavement again and endangering pedestrians. Also cars parking here blocks the view of cars pulling up of Keymer Avenue at an already dangerous location.

Deteriorated road surface across carriageway., 25th April
Deteriorated road surface with potholes across the westward direction on the A259 Brighton Road, Newhaven East Sussex, approaching Upper Valley Road. Potholes unavoidable using a motor car, that jolts the vehicle's suspension. Also very dangerous for motor cyclists. The unattended potholes have been here for some length of time.

Double yellow lines worn away, 24th April
End of Balcombe Road at roderick Ave junction out side good companions pub double yellow line have faded away so vehicles park right on the corner which is nearly causing accidents and if you turn into Balcombe Road and vehicles coming other way you haveto back back into a main road or visa versa.

Pot hole on lights, 22nd April
Pot hole midle of road old lady trolley got stuck and she fell over I got out to help her and pick her Avon books up she didn't seemed to be hurt but think she was Embarrassed. The whole road needs looking at. Was shut all last week at night and these buts have just been missed off.
