The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of BN10 7AU:
Deep Potholes, centre of road, 15th May
Originally reported 22 March and receipt of "job confirmed" message 25 March. Two of four potholes reported remain unrepaired. Subsequently reported 24 April and received reply job completed. This is not the case, These two VERY DEEP pot holes on the centre white line are in the tyre line when passing parked vehocles so traffic is passing on wrong side of the road to avoid. Urgent attention is now required to fix. Question needs to be asked of contractor as to why these have been left unrepaired when others fixed.

People living in caravans, 9th May
Caravans and horseboxes parked up with people living in them. Some of the vehicles are certainly not road worthy but are on public roads. Also residents have seen rats running along their back garden fences that look out on to this. Surely something must be done as its an environmental issue as well as looking disgusting.

Vehicle blocking footway and trailer and vehicle causing obstruction on kerb, 9th May
This vehicle is constantly parked well over the footpath causing an obstruction. This has been parked this way for months and never moves. The verge beyond is also being used for more and more items. It started off as just a trailer but now the trailer is piled with things and a huge 4 x4 parks on there too. It’s right in a corner so anyone trying to leave Hoddern Avenue is pulling out blind. Incredibly dangerous and more and more is being gathered on this corner.

Centre of road Kirby Drive near The Swallows, 24th April
Previously reported on 22 March 2024 several very deep rutting / potholes. All marked for repair a few days later. I have just received an email saying job complete. Not strictly true. Having just driven past only 1 repair has been carried out, the others are all untouched and remain dangerous. Brilliant. Will we now have to wait another month for the matter to be rectified?
