Several weeks ago I reported drains blocked causing my drive and garden to flood ,someone came out and marked the drains on the road,then nothing happened and after several more phone calls ,web chats and contacting Craven council who they also contacted highways several times. last week I saw the gully cleaning team on the B6265 and they got to within 100 metres from my property and turned around and left ,looking now on the website it says the case is now closed with no further action

Blocked Road Drain, 28th November
Despite being cleaned out in the summer, this road drain is, predictably, totally blocked by autumn leaves and debris. Next time it rains heavily, the road will flood, as it has done in past years for the same reason, and the front of our house will be flooded again. This happens because the "pavement" in front of our house is totally degraded and as soon as the road drain floods, the vast pool of water that results on the road floods down to our property, destroying the front garden and pooling into our foundations.

Road runoff and blocked drains problem not resolved, 11th September
This road runoff problem has not yet been resolved. Because of degraded kerb and blocked road drains, the road floods in heavy rain and the water invades Old Church House foundations. The system needs a reappraisal; it never happened before the road level was raised some years ago. There is no need for a dropped kerb along full length of property. The road drains need cleaning out regularly, especially after autumn leaf fall. Much gravel also accumulates in them due to the passing quarry trucks. We cannot have a situation where every time it rains heavily our house gets flooded by road runoff.

Manhole collapsed, 7th February
A manhole inspection cover has collapsed in the highway on the B6265. It has left a hole in the road which is posing a risk to motorists.

Depression in road, 12th March
Yes, the men roughly filled in some of the potholes in this area of the road, but ignored others, including the marked depression in the middle of the road over a collapsed drain pipe. So, the trucks still make a dreadful racket when they rush over it at 45mph from 4.30am !!!

Cracoe village pavement, 12th November
The village pavement is in a poor condition. Very slippy due to mud and debris from overhanging hedges. This is through the whole length of the village. Also in some areas the use of the pavement is restricted due to hedges encroaching. I have slipped a few times and feel it is only a matter of time before someone is hurt.

Slippy pavement, 29th June
Pavement very slippy when wet. From Town end to the Rookery. It's a combination on leaves / mud and dirt from the road that had built up. As well as hedges etc that leaves the pavement needing a clean
