Worsening pothole situation, 7th August
There are still many potholes on Hob lane (from Back Lane), Scar Top Road and New Laithe Road (till Old Snap Bottoms) that have not been filled or marked by the engineer. In one particular area by Ponden Reservoir there is a gully that is about to collapse and it’s directly in the line of the traffic. It poses a serious threat as do all the other potholes. All the roads I’ve identified need to be surveyed carefully as a matter of urgency and immediate action taken where necessary. Many thanks.
