Serious collision risk, 29th June
See the attached image. When travelling from Ings rd Keighley (A650) on to the roundabout towards Skipton (A629) there is an issue regarding road markings that has resulted in three near misses on the roundabout. When approaching the roundabout the road splits into three. The middle and right lanes have the same road arrows (right turn). The right turn on the roundabout leads to Skipton (A629) which is a duel carriageway. Therefore, you have two lanes available to enter and exit the roundabout towards Skipton. However, If you look closely at the supplied satellite picture, the middle lane (slow lane on towards Skipton) crosses a floor marking directing traffic back round the roundabout, past the A629 turn off. Drivers in the fast right lane are attempting to exit the roundabout on towards Skipton when drivers from the slow lane appear to see the road marking and attempt to drive all the way round and back down to road which they entered. I have almost had three recent accidents being in the fast right lane wanting to drive on to Skipton when a car in the slow lane sees the road markings in front of them and attempts to continue round the roundabout directly cutting across my lane to exit.
