The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of BD19 4SS:
Numerous messaging signs are not illuminated between jct 26 and jct 29 East and West, 22nd April
A number of variable speed signs are not displaying any message or speed, including one the on the 8th April when approaching roadworks one red 'X' was not displaying in lane 3 (of 4) around j28 (East bound). This is despite the previous gantry displaying two red 'X's for lanes 3 and 4. Also a number of gantries have signs out when variable speed restrictions are in force - one gantry close to jcn26 had only one sign showing speed in lane 2. Both sections could do with a check to see what signs are operating as they currently the present a poor interface to drivers.

Dumped sofa, fridge, furniture and rubbish bags., 24th February
Huge amount of furniture, sofa, fridge and rubbish bags. Left at the end of the road on the back street at Howard Park numbers 20 to 28 round the back on culdesac closed road.

Most Lights not working, 26th July
Most of the lights are dead with only a couple working/flashing. Most of this section of motorway is in darkness every night has at least a year. Problem between Hunsworth Lane bridge and A58 Whitehall Road West bridge.

Road swelled up during heavy rain. Now the ballooned tarmac has retreated the drain has collapsed. Cars having to avoid the drain.

Massive pothole, 24th January
This pothole has been here for ages now it keeps getting filled in but always comes back. It's like the rest of the estate there everywhere every road on the estate is patches up even the speed bumps its looks like a patch work quilt. I went down this pot hole yesterday and it put a hole in my tire which I then had to pay out money that I couldn't really afford for a new tire

Dead ginger cat on central reservation of M62 westbound before junction 26, has been there all week so far (w/c 5th December). Distracting and upsetting to see, hope this pet can be removed, scanned and the family informed.

Thick layers of leaves., 27th October
Leaves absolutely cover the oaths leaving no clear walkway. When raining this is dangerously slippy. Slipped this morning and nearly fell onto a wall which could have been serious. This is from the bottom of Whitechapel Road all the way up to by the Greenway entrance. It’s been like this a few weeks and getting worse. I acknowledge the fact that it’s autumn and leaves fall but they should be moved to prevent accidents.

Deep gouge in road surface, 14th March
In the outside lane of the slip road to join the M62 eastbound the there is a deep gouge in the surface. The gouge is wide enough to for a car tyre to drop into and it ends suddenly with a step. This could cause tyre or wheel damage (and potentially an accident) as vehicles are likely to be travelling at speed when they hit it.
