The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of BD19 3RT:
Numerous messaging signs are not illuminated between jct 26 and jct 29 East and West, 22nd April
A number of variable speed signs are not displaying any message or speed, including one the on the 8th April when approaching roadworks one red 'X' was not displaying in lane 3 (of 4) around j28 (East bound). This is despite the previous gantry displaying two red 'X's for lanes 3 and 4. Also a number of gantries have signs out when variable speed restrictions are in force - one gantry close to jcn26 had only one sign showing speed in lane 2. Both sections could do with a check to see what signs are operating as they currently the present a poor interface to drivers.

Dumped sofa, fridge, furniture and rubbish bags., 24th February
Huge amount of furniture, sofa, fridge and rubbish bags. Left at the end of the road on the back street at Howard Park numbers 20 to 28 round the back on culdesac closed road.

Dead fox against central reservation, 6th February
There is a dead fox laid against the central reservation just before the entrance to Hartshead services going in the direction to Huddersfield / Brighouse. Please remove as the poor creature has been there over 2 weeks now

VRS barrier removed from posts, due to overgrowing trees, 11th December
Tree's have grown within the central reservation, which are not only covering illuminated signage but have also remove the vehicle restraint system from its posts - posing as a potential safety risk.

Overhanging tree completely obscures the traffic light. This image is from Google Earth but drove past today and it's just as bad.

Worn road markings/no lane signs, 19th June
The 3 lanes need marking up and better signage for lanes as nearly everyday i have someone in the wrong lane nearly running into me. The left lane is left turn only onto M62 and people go straight forward onto the A58 cutting up the person in the middle lane who then cuts up the person in the outside lane. All people focus on is the 3 lanes at the end of the slip road going onto the 3 lanes to the roundabout and dont see the sigs on the road or follow the white lines. This needs attention as it has nearly caused several accidents not just for me but for alot of other road users as i see it on a daily basis.

Rain damaged road, 19th June
Road swelled up during heavy rain. Now the ballooned tarmac has retreated the drain has collapsed. Cars having to avoid the drain.
