Excess rubbish on street, 19th April

Fri, 19 Apr 2024 17:54:53 +0100
53.799287 -1.73236

Excess rubbish scattered across pavements and parking area on both sides of the street. This rubbish has accumulated over a period of time with bad weather and high winds blowing it around the area. It has been a very long time since any street cleaners have come to clean the area. Very disappointing from Bradford Council.

Fly tipping at my garage, 16th April

Tue, 16 Apr 2024 17:04:40 +0100
53.796103 -1.728573

I have contacted the council numerous times about this fly tipping by my garage. They have not helped me at all, people who live on the street have been flipping by my home and have been leaving rubbish and several bags. I had to clean up some of it myself today as I suffer with OCD too and this had detremented with my mental health. There is now pests and horrible smell coming into my home and also leaving pests to come into my home. I am so tired of what’s going on and the council have not been any help. I have reported this numerous times on the website but nothing ever seems to be done about it. I also fear for my children’s life as some youths have tried setting fire near my home. I do not feel safe here at all and fear all our lives are in danger. Please help.

Mosque traffic blocking footpaths and road, 23rd March

Sat, 23 Mar 2024 21:37:15 +0000
53.789883 -1.762355

The Mosque at 15 Claremont Bradford, BD7 1BG. They are parking their cars on the pavement and blocking off pedestrian footpaths. They reverse into you when you are walking and herl abuse. They open their doors when you walk past and forced to walk on the road. They beep their horns of you walk on the road. They have blocked the road off for 7 nights on the go now and the Mosque is why the bus stop on Claremont is no longer in use causing passengers problems and having to walk to the main roads instead. The Mosque visitors park on private landlords car parks and they move wheelie bins out of the way to suit themselves. When the Mosque is finished they walk out, won't move for anyone white British, knock into your arms and drop slippy stuff on the floor. They open their car doors when you walk past, leave their engines running with exhaust fumes that stink and they won't let you cross the road which causes people to miss the 614 or 613 bus. The congestion means most people are using the 576 as you cannot get across the road due to the Mosque and the cars it brings. They also run over pigeons and one Mosque goes has tan over a Seagull with their car and found it funny. They have no respect for wildlife, road safety and they report white British to landlords and want people evicted who file complaints.

Faulty speed camera, 6th February

Tue, 06 Feb 2024 17:04:40 +0000
53.807312 -1.765924

I was travelling towards Shipley/Saltaire/Skipton from Bradford along Manningham Lane today (BD8) 06.02.2024 between 15:30 and 15:50 and a speed camera flashed between my vehicle which was behind a post office van, so no vehicle was on the lines, and there were no vehicles travelling the opposite way. Myself and the post office vehicle were doing less than 20 mph if not less than 10mph because of traffic and as I said there were no cars travelling the opposite way. I’m concerned the camera is faulty and will pick me up as speeding which wasn’t the case at all because of traffic, but also because there were no other vehicles travelling over the speed monitoring lines when it flashed. I have dash cam footage of required.

No One Way / No Entry Sign on Grattan Road, Bradford near roundabout and traffic light signal, 30th January

Tue, 30 Jan 2024 10:17:07 +0000
53.794994 -1.761401

There are two roads parallel to each other and both are called Grattan Road therefore are considered one street. They lie on different heights and are narrow single lane roads. They act like a normal street as they start and end in the same position. My problem is one of the streets is a one way system and the other is not. One street has a one way sign and a no entry sign on the respective ends of the road. The other road however (the one that sits lower) does not. It currently acts as a two way street but has limited space for two cars to pass with street parking and many blind spots when entering this street - this of course is impractical and dangerous as I and many others have had near head-on collisions. As the other road is a one way, you would assume it's accompanying road next to it is for the opposing direction to allow traffic to move. On google maps, it does currently state they are both one ways but in reality, there is not a road sign to state this and so two way traffic commences causing congestion and dangerous reverse actions on a mini roundabout to allow cars to move. Also, if both roads act in the same direction, it causes issues when entering the roadabout as both lanes are unable to see each other and may enter the roundabout simultaneously. I kindly ask that a one way sign and no entry sign also be placed on the other road to allow Grattan road to be as intended. Thank you.
