Waste Build Up, 7th August
Building works started at 3 Longhouse Lane a few years ago but now appears to have stopped. For several months now the property appears to have been left and a large amount of waste has accumulated in the grounds. Would be grateful if the owners could be contacted and asked to clean this up as it is an eyesore and creates a smell on warm/sunny days.

Waste from shop again, 15th June
Denholme Village Store on New Road has left more waste outside from a shop refurbishment and it’s been there over 6 weeks. This is the second time this has type of incident has occurred. This affects the image of the area. Please can the shop owner(s) be made aware this isn’t acceptable and shouldn’t be happening for a second time.

Mountain of dog waste bags on the bridlepath, 29th May
There is a large bag full of dog waste bags on the bridlepath sat behind the houses on The Brow. This has been here for months and needs removing ASAP.

Chippings, 22nd May
On Friday the 19th of May a section of road outside my house was very badly "relaid" basically tons of chippings were thrown down on the road surface and left there's piles of loose stones all over, these stones are hitting my property and neighbouring properties, my husbands windscreen has been hit by a chipping and cracked! Which we now have to pay to get replaced and quotes are around £500 ! Why should we be out of pocket for this amount due to a shoddy job being carried out!The stones have not been rolled or swept away when it was being worked on. This morning whilst walking my dog we were showered in chippings as a wagon went past. The crazy thing is there was absolutely nothing wrong with the road beforehand

Broken fencing, 12th March
The fencing up Seven Acres from the main Road is in disrepair. The land adjacent belongs to Patchett's, however i'm not sure if this fencing belongs to the council. This is giving the local area a derelict and scruffy look.

Fly tipping and general litter problem outside shop, 12th March
Since Denholme Village Store has opened there has been a persistent litter problem around the bottom of Seven Acres. However, recently this has deteriorated and the shop owner(s) think its acceptable to dispose of their waste just outside and in the field adjacent to the shop/behind the shop. This is having a negative effect on the perception of the area as well as for local residents. A permanent solution must be found to this issue.

Extremely tall trees that require urgent attention in the fields backing on to the bridlepath behind The Brow., 5th January
The trees are overgrown and during the last major storms, multiple branches (of significant size and weight) broke in the wind and damaged the wall and neighbouring fencing. I believe the trees belong to East Manywells Farm (Off Doll Lane, Cullingworth). With storm season upon us, and the trees hanging over the bridleway and residences on The Brow, I fear people and property may be injured if the trees are not crowned as soon as possible. Children use the bridleway as a route to the local schools, and a fallen branch could prove fatal.

Long standing Temp traffic lights, 3rd January
Hi
Long standing temporary traffics lights with no work being carried out for some months now. Causes congestion and on the 9th January the main road out of Cullingworth (Cullingworth Road/Hewenden) will be closed for repair for anywhere between 3 weeks and 18 months. This will have major delays and issues compounded by the lights at Denholme.

Litter outside shop and broken fencing, 28th December
Outside the shop on Main Road/bottom of Seven Acres, by the grass there is a lot of litter, in addition the fencing is broken. The increase in litter has started since the shop has opened and makes the area look unsightly and untidy.

Parking problem, 22nd August
This car, along with other household cars are blocking neighbours from parking outside their homes. We are allocated 1 parking space down our street and the neighbour at 39 Longhouse Drive has 3 cars there daily, blocking other vehicles access. The car on tbe trailer is dumped, causing problems when all neighbours are home. Everyone on the street feels the same. The neighbour has been spoken to on regular occasions for the last 5 years, now its just getting worse!
