Multiple cars parking on crown drive and crown street, 30th March

Sat, 30 Mar 2024 17:18:51 +0000
53.744736 -1.768452

This problem is worse on Saturday as most of the cars are parked by people going to the crown pub.On crown drive cars often park restricting entry of exit to drives, on crown street cars park on both sides of the street and if a ambulance or fire engine were to need to pass it would be impossible as it's a struggle to get a car through without folding in mirrors.

Abandoned lorry trailer, 28th September

Thu, 28 Sep 2023 11:18:10 +0100
53.730363 -1.777014

A lorry trailer has been parked on land opposite the Wyke Lion pub. It looks very unsightly. It is also confusing for motorists driving from Lightcliffe towards Chain Bar as it looks like a lorry is appearing from their right hand side. If it isn't moved now, it will deteriorate over the winter and will become impossible to move and it will remain there indefinitely. That would be a great shame as the land - up until now - was an attractive green space.

Dumping scrap metal in their garden, 19th September

Tue, 19 Sep 2023 16:43:24 +0100
53.75652 -1.768427

The people on my street are very anti social, drug smoking every day/night, so all the houses smell! X3 scrap metal vans parked outside, people living in the property that shouldn’t be, now dumping scrap metal in their garden is a real eyesore! Why have the council housed these people in an area that was respectable for over 20 years.

Dangerous fence on Sustrans Route 66 Spen Valley Greenway section, 5th May

Fri, 05 May 2023 17:52:36 +0100
53.749768 -1.752417

Hi There, Not sure who to contact but I want to report a potentially dangerous fence on Sustrans Route 66 Spen Valley Greenway section, this has been like this for several months now but is getting worse - please see attached photo plus note that the location is what3words reference hits.broad.guard. The wire fence has come away from it’s post in one section, a couple of hundred meters from the end of the Greenway, just after the train station at Lowmoor. The damaged fence is not easy to see until you are almost on top of it, and so at some point a cyclist, or one of the many horses that use the route, are likely to be impaled on the strong steel mesh. I have bent it back up several times but it eventually springs back, or someone forces it back down, not sure which? I appreciate it is likely not a fence that is your direct responsibility but I hope you can contact the owners to make it safe again. Many thanks. Kind regards Ivan
