Deteriorating Road Barrier, 29th April
This barrier is becoming quite rotten and has loose beams. A proper repaint is needed to protect it and make it visually clear to motorists. A request last year resulted in it being sprayed with white paint but a through job is now required.

Blocked drainage ditch, 29th April
The brown pipe shown in the pictures often blocks at its entrance with leaves and twigs which I clear occasionally. However, this time it is blocked solid about 5 feet in and needs professional attention. This stream is a run off from the fields on Little Owls Farm which moves a significant volume during heavy rains and has previously flooded up to road level when blocked - even with the secondary black pipe shown running clear. Small debris tends to go through but maybe a way of catching larger debris is needed? The pipe goes under Greengates garage and then the garden of Olivia Cottage and then is an open stream again linking with the blue line shown on your map.

Dangerous Junction -Looks like a corner, 13th December
This junction is notorious locally for drivers not observing it when approaching from the Whitemoor towards Colehill direction. There have been two crashes this month alone that I have seen and I only go past this once a day so no doubt there have been more. I have seen people drive straight over it in front of me on other occasions. If you look at the attached photo can I suggest the issue is that if you are not familiar or paying attention, this crossroads looks more like a left hand bend but you are already looking across the junction. The red hedge on the right of the image is the same height as the green hedge over the junction but can be mistaken for one length of hedge. the road bends left it tricks the eye. Also, the Give Way 50yrds sign which you have just passed at this point is always well overgrown in the summer by the hedgerow it's mounted in. In this instance, the first information you have of Giving Way is the sign you can see here which is too late as you are already about to drive straight over. This needs a STOP sign either side of the road in both directions and maybe slow down lines across. Someone is going to get seriously hurt soon.

Poorly marked junction, 30th November
This junction is known for drivers not stopping and going straight over, particularly when travelling towards Colehill. Although there are Give Way road signs, they are placed very close to the junction itself and with the almost invisible road markings it would appear drivers do not appreciate how close to the junction they are before it is too late. (Another crash just this week) The road markings and need repainting and maybe a STOP sign?

Pothole, under water, 14th November
In about this vicinity, a pothole under water gave my wheel and undercarriage a hell of a thump. Don't know size because it was underwater. It's a new one.

The footpath from Holt Lane right through to the farmyard is so overgrown you can no longer walk down it and the farmer understandably doesn’t want people walking on his land. This desperately needs cutting back.
