Manhole cover rocking noisily and slightly sunken, 12th February
This manhole cover on Rye Hill, directly opposite the entrance to Rye Hill Close, looks ok but is now rocking badly, especially when hit by the many heavy vehicles that use the road. As you can see from the photo, it is near the centre of the road so most of the HGVs etc driving North down Rye Hill into Bere Regis hit it, and you can now see the cover visibly move as they do so. This obviously makes a lot of noise which disturbs the nearby residents, some of whom are only about 20 yards away. Previously, the audible rocking only occurred with HGVs but now it happens with some cars, so it is clearly deteriorating, and the problem is exacerbated by the cover being slightly below the road surface. Please fix this problem so the nearby residents can once again get some undisturbed sleep. Thank you.

Deep pothole, 18th December
This pothole has been there a while. Its difficult to miss when you turn into Manor Farm Road junction. My car has hit it a couple of times now, and it's damaged the hub cap of my wheel.

Multiple lights still not working, 9th October
Three street lights are still not working, this is despite the fact that I had reported them a year ago, and made multiple follow-ups.
In addition to this, some of the lights I had reported were replaced. But I’m not sure why the other faulty lights seem to have been ignored, particularly as the lights are supposedly checked every 30 days or so?
The remaining numbers for faulty lights are: 9, 10, and 14.

Old traffic sign been left up for several months, 11th September
The traffic sign is telling drivers that to join the A31 eastwards, they should take the A35 West towards Dorchester! This sign needs to be removed asap before there is an accident. Drivers who see the sign could think they're in the wrong lane, and try to change lane right on the roundabout.

A35 - Two lanes merging into 1, 24th June
Very deep and multiple potholes where the road merges and meets. this has gotten very deep and has caused damage to my car. This is getting looked at and a bill will hopefully be cleared by Highways England. No pictures as very unsafe to stop.

Long, deep (4 inches plus) hole Eastbound, end of dual carriageway where two road surfaces are poorly joined, 10th April
This lengthy hole is directly in the path of where vehicles are merging back into one lane. It is particularly dangerous for motorcyclists because the hole is exactly along the line that they will take - if a motorcyclist hits this it will destabilise the bike and cause death of serious injury. It has been present for months and has got significantly worse and should be fixed ASAP now biking season is here.

Badly signed junction, white lines hardly visible, 10th February
Both of these junctions have become very dangerous with worn out white lines and with no indication of exit or entry points onto to A31.Extremely hazardous especially in rainy weather and poor visibility

Material on Cycle Path, 10th January
The cycle path adjoining the off slip road from the main carriageway to Roke Road (west of Bere Regis) is covered with damp leaves at its lower level (being very slippery and dangerous for cyclists) and hedge trimmings at its upper level (with conseqquent risk of punctures). The cycle path needs to be cleaned asap.

Most street lights are not working, very dangerous!, 22nd November
Street lighting on Bere Regis Roundabout A35 and A31.
I would like to report that a lack of street lighting has become so dangerous and unsafe. Only 3 of them work now, with the bulk of them not working or blown. It has been this way for months, and nothing has been done to fix this, or warn drivers.
Please can this be looked at ASAP before conditions start to turn icy and become even more dangerous.

Zebra crossing, 2nd July
Th zebra crossing and the road surface is so badly worn out that drivers are not stopping for pedestrians. Drivers think this crossing is not operational and now is dangerous.
