Severe bump., 11th March
Was traveling along this 50mph road yesterday heading towards Chorley new road when my vehicle was severely shunted on a raised bump on the Bridge section. The road has a severe bump which spans the full carriageway and obviously this has sunken just before it joins the bridge. Needs to be checked and repaired.

This series of potholes supposedly fixed 2 weeks ago!! are now worse than ever. they are a danger to life and limb. how i stopped myself falling yesterday i don't know. there is no pavement. anyone could easily fall due to the state of this part of newchapel lane. on top of the damage to wheels suspensions of cars. this is made worse by quarry wagons using a weight restricted road. 7.5 ton!! it's way past time it was sorted out

Huge pothole, 21st February
I know the pothole on the new road at the junction of Beaumont road / Stapleton Ave has been fixed but further back towards ravensdale road there’s another huge one - if you are travelling from Horwich arriving at the junction where’s there’s 3 lanes - one to turn right into Beaumont rd - it’s the middle lane , the one that takes you straight through the lights to go to Bolton - it’s between ravensdale rd and the next lights . I’ve hit this pothole twice now as you have no option to be able to move into another lane - I seriously hope it hasn’t damaged my car true

The potholes are on Crompton Road adjacent to Chorley new rd been poorly repaired some time ago and now deep and damaging to vehicles, 5th February
These potholes have been in existence for many years. They have been reported by myself at times but the repairs are not lasting . The stretch of Crompton rd from the junction of Chorley new rd to the point where it meets the entrance to Ainscow Avenue is now in need of a more general repair as there are more patches and potholes than sound road

Series of potholes, 3rd February
Yet again a series of large deep potholes in and around the hump between ridgmont drive and braithwaite. causing damage to cars and danger to pedestrians. as well as noise of vehicles thumping over them !!!! there is now another large deep pothole just between ridgmont drive and barncroft on new chapel lane on/at the metal drain cover, this is also getting worse by the day. IF you get your act together while new chapel lane is closed 5/2 to 14/2/24 it will give you chance to make a decent long lasting repair /re surface, or take the hump out altogether. it would save money in the long term than these series of botched patches. please please take action

Huge horrendous two potholes, 31st January
If you are travelling along the new road coming from Horwich and want to turn left into Victoria road , right at the junction by the pavement side are two huge and horrendously deep potholes - with the amount of cars using this junction day in day out I’m surprised there’s been no damage and esp to cyclists - I drove through one of them today as I couldn’t avoid it and I certainly hope it hasn’t damaged me wheel - please as a matter of urgency sort these two potholes out
