Light out, 25th April
The ginnel between Levens Drive and Hardhorn has a light at the Levens drive end that does not work making it an easy target for dog walkers to let their dog foul down this ginnel. Also for anyone walking down this ginnel with no lights on, can walk into the excrement or trip up as this area is not a flush pathway

Damaged verge, 11th April
The grass verge has been left in an appalling state by the recent Electric Board work. Their attitude toward the community throughout the repair was awful. No consideration and prolonged temporary traffic lights over Easter. This needs addressing .

Roadworks next to roadworks, 21st March
Finally, after four years, the bypass opens, yet more roadworks are being done at Shard Lane and Mains Lane, but the biggest question is there is also some more roadworks further down mans lane towards the bypass which is stopping people from getting through the first set of roadworks before you get to the new set of roadworks before you get to the bypass. Who plans this?

Placement of road causes an obstruction of my driveway.., 1st March
The new bypass prevents me to use my driveway of 206 breckroad the distance between bypass and the footpath outside my property is 2,7metres which is not wide enough to use and reverse my vehicle safely. I have been in contact with kier who are constructing the highway, who have suggested a option for us, unfortunately this is not going to help. I would like a member of your team to do a site visit and have some form of a meeting with ourselves, as I feel we are being fobbed off!. Kind regards.

Traffic lights out of sync on Mains Lane to access/cross new A585, 22nd February
I am sure that this is probably one of many complaints received regarding the affect the current works are having on the people travelling from the Over Wyre area.
I have been withholding judgement on the new road until it is fully open and fully functional but as of this morning the proper lights on Mains Lane are working and this is causing a delay of well over an hour for people trying to get off Shard Bridge. The lights to cross the bypass on Mains Lane are only letting approx 5 cars through at a time and are completely out of sync with the lights letting people off Shard Road and the bridge. The backlogs are horrendous.
This isn't the first time in the years that this work has been going on that we have had to deal with this but it is by far the worst it has been.
Many many people need to travel to work, school and appointments from the Over Wyre area and we seem to have been forgotten or not matter in any of this. It is not only frustrating and upsetting for everyone but is also costing employers thousands of pounds in lost earnings with people being late.
Please sort this out, address the issues with the lights and please stop forgetting about the real people involved in all the massive delays.

Abandoned Cars, untaxed/no number plates on the highway., 11th October
Untaxed. They have been present for well over 12 months. Parking on the estate is difficult enough without this added danger to the public. It is suspected this is a widespread problem on the estate and hence a survey of the estate as a whole would be prudent (after 6.p.m. it would be an easy task to undertake).

Grass verges not maintained, 16th August
The verges from Singleton Crossroads on the A585 to Skippool Junction have not been maintained AT ALL, ALL YEAR ! It’s appalling growth and has been reported ( repeatedly ) before . Normally these are cut at least 4 times a year . This is a big let down for residents . Life for people living on this road is awful due to the building of the new by pass - this needs rectifying- immediately please

Grass verges on mains lane still an issue, 14th August
Grass verges on mains lane still a hazard. Why can’t something do simple be rectified. Some of the verges have been cut leaving those nearest to road works on A585 roadworks in an appalling condition I have written so many times about this subject please can someone do something about it before a real accident happens
