Signal phasing is causing accidents, 19th January
The phasing has (again) changed resulting in the lights for Amounderness Way being green for much longer. This results in queues on the roundabout from other lights backing up into the straight on (Amounderness) lanes which is very dangerous. There have been at least 2 serious accidents this week. We had similar problems last Jan/Feb due to The lights "learning" traffic flows which eventually (several weeks later) were changed back and then worked properly again. Please can they again be put back to the phasing that has worked well before last Jan and throughout the rest of 2023 after last years issues were corrected.

The white lines and arrows have faded, 18th January
There are near daily crashes on this relatively new junction. People comment it's not easy to Navigator. The lines and arrows have really faded. While probably not the ultimate answer to reduce crashes here it would very much help if the road markings can be made clear again. Thank you.

Multiple lights never worked., 12th January
Although already reported numerous times, some major street lights on this roundabout are still not lit and I do not think they have ever worked since the new junction was completed. Dark areas to the west of the junction. This junction is supposed to be state of the art. What is going on?

Poor Information, 9th May
Road lane/position is key at this location in order to safely navigate/transit the traffic controls. None of the approaches show any mimic signs to show the necessary lane disciplines and the ones marked on the road are often covered by cars so not visible. It is often dangerous to change lanes once committed.

Seriously dangerous. Another accident here making 3 in one week. https://www.facebook.com/groups/poultonlefyldechat/permalink/[phone removed]/ You should read the comments. Turning right from Carleton FY6 is described as ‘wacky races’ so true.

Urgent-Norcross roundabout FY5 faded lane road signs., 27th April
There was another accident here this week. The road signs have faded which is adding to the problem at a very busy roundabout. Why do you paint them on the road; we can’t see them if a car is sitting on them? More signage is needed to stop the lane jumpers. There should be traffic lights at the Carleton entrance- we have to deal with 5 lanes of traffic coming at us and take a wild guess at when the traffic lights change and then go across 3 lanes to turn right! Nearly all the accidents happen at this entrance/exit. It’s been a problem since day one. They come down the hill doing 60mph and don’t slow down. It’s known locally as Norcrash.

Traffic light sequence, 7th March
Since the traffic light sequence changed a few weeks ago the problems caused by the roundabout being blocked at most exits and the congestion every morning and evening is ridiculous. I understand the reason may have been to slow traffic down in the roundabout but all it’s fine is make people more stupid. The traffic lights were told to us local residents as supposedly helping with flow of traffic and congestion and most mornings it’s completely congested and we aren’t able to get on or off the roundabout because of the new traffic light sequence. The congestion up fleetwood road in carleton is worse than it’s ever been and some days it’s so bad it’s up to the crossroads junction with poulton road and Bispham road. N days like today when it’s so bad my daughter often ends up late for school. For years I’ve done this journey and never had the issues I have now. The roundabout needs looking at and whether the light sequences change back to when it actually functioned or crosshatched boxes out in the roundabout to stop all exits being blocked even when the lights are on Green! The disruption caused seems to only be through poor choices and lack of thought for locals.

Lights sequence, 3rd March
The lights sequence isn’t correct as when joining the roundabout from fleetwood road south the norcross lights are letting traffic onto the roundabout but the lights are still red. So when the n/b lights go green the traffic is stuck in the middle and the traffic can’t move round the junction. This is more of an issue when it’s busier but like it all day long. Please send someone to view it at 830am or 430-5pm

Unacceptable delay in fixing this, 27th February
All reports over the last month are closed but the problem persists. You say no changes have been made but around mid-January the phases definitely changed as has been repeatedly reported. If you didn't make these changes then who did??? I cannot believe that the previous configuration which has worked pretty well for >12 months cannot be restored within minutes. If they can't then something is seriously wrong. THIS IS CAUSING DANGEROUS TRAFFIC BUILD UP AT PEAK TIMES AND IT'S NOW OVER A MONTH SINCE IT WAS REPORTED. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
