FIXMYSTREET IN FY2 9DH
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of FY2 9DH:
Cars parking on the junction., 2nd May
Since the opening of the new day care centre in the old Mountford centre on Low Moor Road there has been cars parking on Low Moor and Washington Avenue right at the junction. This is making an already tricky junction worse because people are having to pull further out to see if Low Moor Road is clear. Can we possibly have double yellows at the junction before someone gets hurt.

Pavement very uneven, 2nd May
The pavement from the junction of Low Moor Road to the entrance of the flats at the end of Washington Avenue is very uneven after multiple works for cables etc. It's not being helped by all the extra cars now parking on the pavement visiting the new day care centre at the Mountford Centre on low Moor Road.

Abandoned Bus / Badly Parked Bus, 28th April
There is a double-decker bus parked on Norfolk Road, Bispham. It has been left there for over a week. It is parked over double yellow lines and it is causing problems for people trying to cross the road as it is so big, it is hard to see around. Most of the local people are elderly and this adds to this problem as they struggle to cross the road anyway.
Children / Youths have been hanging around the bus and have smashed eggs on the windscreen. They have also pulled the wiper blades open, away from the windscreen, which is another potential hazard.
The bus looks like it has been abandoned, but it may have just been parked there. If it has been parked, it is inappropriate to have such a big vehicle in a residential area, it is a real eyesore.
The bus has information on the side to say that it belongs to a company called Transpora.
