Large pothole, on B6243, clitheroe road.. between the houses 19 inch wide, 34 inch long, 6 inch deep, 22nd February
I haven’t noticed this pothole while driving, but whilst temporary lights have been up, which made the road very tight, I noticed a large brick at the side of the road, not realising it was a pothole there as well as the brick. I traveled to clitheroe on Wednesday 20th February at 7.40 am and noticed the brick had been moved, but not noticed the pothole.. when on my way back from clitheroe at 8.15 I hit the pothole, I wasn’t traveling at speed as the traffic lights only just turned to green. I pulled over, but couldn’t see anything I then went home and parked up. I then haven’t used my car till today Friday 22nd February 2019. when traveling I heard knocking and clunching, whilst turning more noises banged and grinded. I pulled up, and had a look, I rung my dad, who is a mechanic he came and had a look and noticed my spring broken on my off side front.
When gone back to the pothole to measure it measured. Width - 19 inch wide Length - 34 inch long Depth - 6 inch deep
