Road not fit to drive on, 19th June
The section from the bottom of the hill to the bend at the top is in an appalling state and in desperate need of proper repair. The road has broken up that much that it is impossible to drive safely on your own side of the road without causing some form of damage to your vehicle from repeatedly having to drive through the potholes. The council have previously attempted to fix it, but obviously a good job was not done as it is now worse than it was before.

Dangerous condition of the road surfacing, 9th March
It is a s bend with appalling road conditions on the left side approaching from Bolton by Bowland side. You either have to brave being in the centre of the carriageway. Or into the banking as you will see that the banking has been well driven on. This is an accident waiting to happen.

Large section of road uneven, 9th December
A large section of the road that stretches from just before to just after woodlands on both sides of the road is very uneven with 2 large potholes as well. Becoming a hazard and could damage car tyres.

At the entrance to stump cross lane, the whole width of the road has broken up. A large pothole is also forming. The poor surface can't be avoided as it is across the full width and needs attending to asap before the road becomes un-usable.

2 large potholes parallel to each other, 23rd May
There are 2 quite deep potholes parallel to each other. It is only just possible for a car to pass through the middle without catching the potholes. These will break up quickly and make the road impossible for cars to use with all the agricultural vehicles that also use the road. This needs attending to asap.

Road is breaking up from carters lane down to the main entrance to ellenthorpe farm/huntsman cottage. It's like driving a roller coaster rather than a road.

These pothole have been here for well over a year. They are becoming more dangerous as they are on a corner. To avoid these means having to drive on the wrong side of the road round a bend.
