Some small repairs to Clitheroe Road, through West Bradford have been carried out, but the rest of the road is pretty much a series of pot holes and chewed up road surface. Nice to see that Waddington has had amazing improvements to its road, with a complete resurface, could West Bradford please follow suit. Thank you

Drain sinking again on Moor Lane., 20th July

Fri, 20 Jul 2018 22:50:00 +0100
53.898561 -2.398777

The drain is sinking and this has left a very sharp edge, which is pretty dangerous if you happen to drive over it. United Utilities are working very close to this drain, perhaps they could fix this while they are there. It is only 5 feet from their current work position.

This sunken iron work was repaired some time ago, but the problem has returned and there is a very sharp edge when the tarmac has dropped. Not sure if this is the Council or Utilities that need to fix it?

Some of the bad potholes on Waddington Road, travelling towards West Bradford, past the School, have been patched, but there are others that have been completely ignored. No idea why, as they are just as dangerous as the others were.

Worsening road surface, 11th April

Wed, 11 Apr 2018 01:15:05 +0100
53.896595 -2.389314

I have reported the state of the road through West Bradford, on Grindleton Road. It is just a chicane, trying to avoid the simply shocking potholes, whilst trying to accommodate other drivers on the road, who are doing the exact same thing. How this road has not caused a serious accident, I don't know. Cyclists who use this road regularly, must take their life in their hands. Being in a car is bad enough, just hoping that your tyres don't blow.

Deep pothole, one of dozens, getting worse, 11th February

Sun, 11 Feb 2018 17:05:00 +0000
53.889292 -2.413443

I know I have reported the state of the roads in Waddington and West Bradford until I am blue in the face, but there is one particular pothole along Clitheroe Road in Waddington that really makes the tyre bang when you go over, or more to the point, in it. I thought our tyre had been blown the other day. This road is just so bad, right through the village, extra traffic due to West Bradford bridge being closed and a lot of heavy goods lorries, are just churning the road into a cart track. I would not wish anyone to be in the pain I am, due to crumbling spinal bones, dropping into potholes and being thrown about due to the road surface, is not my idea of a gentle drive into Clitheroe.

Completion date for repairs to the Bridge, 28th January

Sun, 28 Jan 2018 12:35:58 +0000
53.890955 -2.389486

Is there an estimated completion date, for West Bradford Bridge? Travelling through to Grindleton bridge is terrible, given the dreadful state of the road. I know the road through West Bradford is in an awful state of repair, as I have reported umpteen times, but it is the lesser of two evils in distance.

Shocking state of the road through West Bradford, towards Grindleton., 28th January

Sun, 28 Jan 2018 12:33:07 +0000
53.896139 -2.390623

Pinning one place is just marking one small area, there are so many potholes and degrading of the road surface. This is getting worse daily, as more and more traffic is diverted away from the Bridge in West Bradford. I know remedial action is going to be taken, but, one more crash into one of the many potholes will certainly blow a tyre. There are countless holes along this stretch of road, to the junction of Grindleton Bridge. When they are full of rain water, you have no idea what you are going to hit.

Terrible Road Surface, multiple potholes, 6th January

Sat, 06 Jan 2018 16:50:56 +0000
53.897309 -2.387243

I know I have harped on about the state of the roads in West Bradford / Waddington and others, but they really are in a terrible mess. With the closure of the bridge in West Bradford, the traffic through both villages is much increased and the roads are falling to pieces. Travelling over the unavoidable potholes, is going to cause an accident, either to a cyclist, or car driver, when they blow a tyre. I am disabled and it literally pains me, to be a passenger. Some repairs, any repairs, would be very welcome, to many people. Thank you
