Blocked drains, 23rd March
The drains all the way along this road are entirely blocked with mud. There are pools of water caught around them. No doubt this is because of the industrial premises / landfill on the road.

Main road to Knowle eroded. Cannot see this when its dark . Needs filling in asap, 17th March
Water coming out ditch out of the property called The Parks, Eastcote Lane.
This floods the main Road to Knowle and has now eaten away the road. I use this road most days after I finish work at 10pm and had several near misses.

Large and quite deep pothole in line with car wheels, 12th February
This has recently occurred but is in line with car wheels and is just after the bridge so not visible until it’s too late. It could be damaging to car wheels and is dangerous to cyclists as it is in line with where they cycle and is on a narrow part of the road so avoiding it with traffic coming the other way would be difficult.

Road Surface Appalling !, 3rd February
The road surface on this busy 70 mph dual carriageway on both sides has now deteriorated so much that it is dangerous. Nearby Quarry is being used for excessive HGV HS2 movements which has contributed to worn out white line markings, silt on the highway and the surface degrading. Not helped by excessive litter and plastic debris kerbside. Between Hampton Lane and Stonebridge A452 Kenilworth Road.

Excess debris from tree felling/pollarding obstructing footpaths, 30th December
The works were carried out on 28/29 December and had a complete road closure. Despite this the team responsible do not appear to have made any effort to clean up effectively. Branches have been left in the already clogged ditches, huge branches at the side of the road which is a safety concern if they rolled into the road or a car crashed off the road into them as they aren’t visible in the dark. The footpath is virtually impossible to navigate with all the wood and branches representing a trip hazard, and would be completely inaccessible with a pushchair or wheelchair.
The path is in general poorly maintained and is next to a very busy road so needs to be safe and usable. The whole area is in need of a good clear up. There is a huge accumulation of silt in the gutters that Road sweepers won’t shift, the ditches are full of debris so even if the drains that are blocked are cleared the water that should run into them has nowhere to go. I have been raising this issue for years and was assured by the council that it would be remedied with HS2’s help. Still no better.

Large very deep pot hole directly in line with car wheels, 18th December
Very dangerous pothole due to position in the road, also very deep. Causing damage to vehicle wheels. Would throw a motorcycle rider or cyclist off if they hit it. It’s leaving the village direction. Please remedy asap before there is an accident/injury

Road condition, 19th November
This road is a 70mph dual carriageway. Road safety emergency. On the northbound side between Hampton Lane & Stonebridge. The centre lines have faded & disappeared. The kerbside lines have almost disappeared under a build up off road dirt & grit. There are no cats eyes. Just driven this section of road in the dark, it was dangerous.
