Traffic lights, 20th February
The fence along the oil terminal is being replaced and every day traffic lights are set up. The signs stated it will last for 12 weeks which ended on 8 Feb. Presumably they had a permit for this which I guess has run out. Yet the lights are still being set up every day even when no one turns up to work on it. Monday 19th is an example. This is delaying everyone, everyday meaning people are wasting their lives sitting at lights for no reason.

Car parking CV9 2RR, 6th February
Residents at number 31 Everglade Road, (this is a corner plot) have 2 cars parked on the drive, but have 4 vehicles. 2 of these (1 of which is a transit van) are consistently park outside their house at night, which makes pulling off and driving onto 18 & 20 drives unnecessarily problematic, and covers the view at the corner for motorists and pedestrians. This area also does not have pavements, but it does have 2 visitor parking at the end of the road which they can use. This has been going on for nearly a year.

Temporary Traffic lights by oil terminal, 17th December
The fence is being replaced alongside the oil terminal. To improve safety of the workers temporary traffic lights have been erected. The signs state it will continue for 12 weeks. However, the lights are there even when the workers are not. The workers are there Monday to Friday from about 8am to 3pm. When they finish why can't the few cones and the lights be moved instead of leaving them, even over the whole weekend, as it is just causing traffic jams, frustration and delays. The road itself is not being worked on so there is no danger to traffic to move them. It's common sense and with Xmas coming up will they be there for a fortnight or so when no workers are?
