They are deposited throughout the entire pavement probably about every 15-20 meters apart, some stepped in and flattened already.
I stepped in it yesterday and children walking to school are stepping on it and then taking it inside the primary school on their shoes.

Flooding of properties due to inadequate highway drainage, 8th July
On Hathaway Road at the bottom of the hill outside no. 49 there is a pair of road gullies which are incapable of handling the surface water run off. This is due in part because there is inadequate positive highway drainage in Hathaway Road but it is also exacerbated by inadequate highway drainage in Hill Village Road which overflows across the rear gardens and funnels down into no. 42 Hathaway Road and then into the road causing a major surcharge and the associated flooding problem. As can be seen from the attached photo showing the surcharging of the surface water manhole cover the problem could also appear to be a downstream issue which should be investigated with a CCTV survey. I would be very interested if a surface water run-off model would concur with my observations that the infrastructure appears to be inadequate to protect premises from flooding.

Trees/bushes overgrown into road., 20th June
As reported before, there are bushes that have not been trimmed back for years. This means that this is essentially a single track road down towards the junction - there is not room for two normal sized cars to pass. Unfortunately, some drivers do not slow down, so if you’re already passing this overgrowth, then so have to move so far over that your car gets scratched. There is a quick fix to this issue (which I have reported before to no avail), so please get it trimmed back ASAP.

Existing potholes getting deeper and could cause damage to cars and very dangerous to cyclists!, 20th June
As you can see from the photos, this particular pothole is now very deep. Hillwood Common Rd is plagued by potholes which have been reported several times over the years. The only way to avoid them is to drive in the middle of the road, otherwise you risk damaging tyres and suspension. Obviously, if there is traffic coming, all cars have to drive over them. I have seen cyclists (this is a popular route with local clubs) suddenly swerve to avoid them. Very dangerous indeed. Please ensure that this long-awaited issue is resolved soon. (Some potholes were marked up for maintenance over 5 years ago!)
