Pot holes, 27th January
These pot holes have been resurfaced within the previous week and are already developing again. the resurface was carried out by putting excessive tarmac across the section of repair required and extended around the initial holes. this has exaggerated the problem and diverted the flow of excessive water from the lane away from the drainage ditch onto the lane and resulted in the holes reappearing????

Potholes in road at the end of track opposite Thornley house, 6th January
This track was under a Highways planning consent, to resurface, before stables could be used. Planning office have now removed this condition. Hence the highway is breaking up due to the continuing water run off.
